Multiple sources, including @mashhadyemeni and @alymennet, reported that the US carried out two airstrikes on the Bani Hashish district, east of Sanaa Governorate.
Middle East Eye spoke with a survivor of the strikes, Faisal Saghir, who heard a plane hovering nearby at 10:20pm, and after 30 seconds of hovering, a loud nearby explosion. Faisal Saghir and his 10 year old son Sameer Faisal Saghir sustained wounds from the blast when glass around them shattered everywhere, while Faisal’s other son, 12 years old, was left traumatized and crying for hours. According to Faisal, “A strike hit the one-story house of my neighbour, 30 metres away from my flat,” and his neighbors narrowly survived. Faisal mentioned that there was no Houthi presence in the neighborhood.
A Facebook post from Badr Hamoud Al-Arhabi stated that homes had sustained material damage as a result of an airstrike by the “aggression” in the Al-Daqiq neighborhood in the Sarf area of Bani Hashish while @Hhadialmusawi referred to the location of the damaged houses as “the Al-Sabah Sardeef neighborhood”.
