One family. One attack. 132 names. A Gaza investigation

In December 2024, National Public Radio (NPR) published a major investigation into a specific civilian harm incident in the area of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. In March 2025, they published a follow up piece forensically breaking down every member of the family killed and recreating the scene. Lawyers are beginning to pursue action over the strike, in which more than 100 civilians were killed.

Ahead of publication, NPR specifically asked Airwars to review the incident as additional confirmation of the alleged death toll, as well as to find details on those killed.

The article says: “NPR asked the London-based war monitoring group to look into the incident. Out of nearly 1,000 strikes the group has assessed throughout the Gaza war, it says the Abu Nassar family strike is among the top three deadliest.”
