The Smart News Agency reported that a member of IS and his wife were killed and four other civilians wounded in an alleged Coalition airstrike on a building in the Al Dar’iya neighbourhood of Raqqa. No further details are currently available.
According to Euphrates Post, “Coalition planes targeted a motorbike driven by a member of Daesh with his wife and child, killing them immediately. The child survived. They were Uzbek nationals.” Shaam News Network also said the Coalition struck the motorcycle, killing two members of IS, but made no mention of civilian casualties.
Two local sources reported the death of Qusay Khalil al-Nahar – “from the clan Albograda” – in an alleged Coalition airstrike on Raqqa. While Mr al-Nahar’s death was reported on June 16th, family members contacted by Airwars indicated that his death was around June 9th, at al Tayara in the Raqqa countryside.
One civilian male was reportedly killed following alleged Coalition airstrikes near the museum area of Raqqa. Al Raqqa Truth and Mohannad al Mofdi identified the male victim by name as they reported his death on June 24th and said that he had been killed “a few days ago”. No further details were available.
